• Liaise with painting/finishing team to assess how to develop the CAD model to give them suitable parts for a quality finish for the final models
• Machine prototype parts in a variety of plastics and metals
• Assess form and fit of components prior to finishing, painting and assembly
• Arrange graphics elements to be printed
• Liaise with finishing team to obtain a high-quality spray painted finish representative of production parts
• Undertake project management
• Filming of parts being cut, finished and assembled was used in the final edit of the program. The episode went through the complete design and prototyping process using this concept as the example
